it's a cool concept, but it lost it's charm very quickly.

the ai doesn't remember what i just told it. i had one of the characters say he was down to light a girl's house on fire for being mean to me one day and then criticize me that weekend when i brought it up while on a date. this guy also couldn't remember when i repeatedly asked him not to call me "dude" or "guy" (i wasn't even mad at it or offended or whatever. this is just something i would ask an actual person i hardly know not to call me, and i wanted to see if he would remember. he did not)

the characters don't even remember my name. one girl asked for it, i told her "amber," and she called me amelia in the next line of dialog. maybe she's supposed to forget and say a similar name, i don't know. maybe that's in character for her, but it came across like the ai forgetting and guessing.

another girl got mad at me when, after she said she liked football and golf, i said "oh, it looks like we have a common interest in sports," stating that "sports are beneath her." she did backtrack when i corrected her and said "yeah, i like sports..." but at that point, it was the last line of dialog in the date

i got bored after like 25 minutes but decided to keep going to see if i'd have any fun at any point, but it just didn't happen. i have more fun talking to chatgpt than i did playing this game. i might try it again when it's finished, but for now, this is it, and i cannot recommend it

i use this as a drunk driving simulator. very fun. i don't always play while drunk tho. when i'm sober, it's just because i have never driven a real car but want to feel like i'm anywhere but here. does it work? not really, i still know i'm just sitting in my room, but it is relaxing, and it's even better with a steering wheel and pedals

duck game is one of the only things that makes me happy. i buy it for people when i'm drunk (like right now) because my main group of friends hate me and won't play it with me because they think i'm too good at it (i'm not)
