I don't play a huge amount of JRPG's, but I have played what are considered some of the best.(FF7/8, Chrono series, Suikoden 1/2/3, Earthbound)
This one still stands above the rest, but Chrono Trigger and Suikoden 2 come closest for me.
It's a huge game that can maintain a fantastically high level of exciting and emotional moments.
I also really enjoyed the first part of the remake and look forward to the next portion.

I can't say enough good things about this game.
The voice acting and music are top notch.
Gameplay is varied and challenging.
The closest thing to a perfect game for me.

Adrenaline filled boss battles that are very challenging.
One of the greatest soundtracks for a game.
Short but sweet.

- Great Art, Music, Voice acting and Character building with a diverse cast that is constantly growing.
- Consistent updates with new modes, maps and weapons that come out at a fair pace.
- Free to play.
Cons
- Takes a large amount dedication and skill to really enjoy what it has to offer.
- Cosmetic store can be very expensive, but the free cosmetic offerings are decent without spending anything.

This is a fun and challenging game despite the graphics looking a bit simple and childish.
After just one session playing alone, I'm happy I got it. Looking forward to future developments,
