Half-Life is a truly revolutionary first—person shooter with a wonderful atmosphere, good plot presentation, realistic graphics at that time and divine gameplay. It is worth noting that this particular game gave an impetus to the gaming industry, showed that shooters are not always just dumb shooting at dummies, it is also a spectacular adventure.

One of the best games in its genre and the best and only one of its kind on the topic of vampires. So for some reason it turned out that in games, vampires are not very interesting and are not often presented as the main plot element. That is, the masquerade to this day actually has no adequate competitors.
Very atmospheric and detailed world and ENT. Here the most real vampires with super abilities. But there is a choice of clans(which will affect the game itself, not just the ability). In General, everything that concerns the lore and the plot in the game is very thought out succinctly. Very cool quests as a plot and side(which by the way also have a plot and often several branches).
The fly in the ointment is that from a technical point of view, the game has a lot of problems and everything else is localized clumsily(which affects not only the translation itself, but also some aspects of the game). Solves an unofficial patch that fixes everything.

Dead by Daylight perfectly recreates the climax of almost any slasher: when scenes of copious bloodletting have already amused the audience and things are coming to an end. The surviving heroes found a way to escape. They already know exactly what they need to do to escape the maniac and return home with all their limbs intact. But the merciless killer is on his heels. Everything is decided by a minute. The story is about to end. The audience froze in suspense.

It is these feelings that the game conveys exactly, and even allows you to look at the situation from a different angle — from the face of the killer. And everything would be fine, but the "magic" is dispelled very quickly

Dead by Daylight juggles the conventions and cliches of slasher movies, building on them the entire gameplay. The classic situation is that the hero runs away from the maniac as fast as he can, and the man follows grimly, but still catches up with the victim. In Dead by Daylight, there is a similar exciting scene in almost every match. An unkillable (literally) maniac is always a little faster than the victims, he can read the traces left by them, sees the map better and has much more time to study it. Run, don't run, and the chance that the killer will suddenly appear around the corner or grab you by the heels when you climb out of the window in desperation is always great.
