Yeah, I would recommend this, despite the nonsensical puzzles and how unfair this game can get sometimes, even on lower difficulties.

A masterpiece, anyone who says otherwise was brainwashed

The game is like a very hot toxic girlfriend that beats up and doesn't know how to cook, but you still love her.

The game is a masterpiece, jankyness aside, and the fact they haven't fixed the FOV for this game after 11 years, which is insane. It gets really scary and tense and you must manage your resources smartly.

Yeah, just mod the FOV, best combo is "Flawless Widescreen" and "The Evil Within ultrawide fix & FOV changer (Game Pass & Epic)".

The game is pretty good.

I hope Microsoft doesn't abandon this franchise and give us THE EVIL WITHIN 3, with the latest ID TECH engine, so we can absolutely ♥♥♥♥ our pants. Dear lord above, imagine what they can accomplish with the latest ID TECH engine.

I beat this on the X360 back then, now on PC feels like the definitive way to experience this masterpiece.

ID Software delivered, what an awesome game this is.

A masterpiece, what else it is to say about this game, I just wished they removed the silly sequence whenever there is the one last enemy standing that they copy-pasted from TLOU 2 and doesn't make sense here, only breaks momentum.
