Extremely well polished game. Even though it's early access it feels like a finished product. Better than most AAA titles that release way too early and are fixed post-launch.
I would say in terms of gameplay it's a mix of some of my favorite games. The setting and pacing reminds me of Half-Life, the environments are highly interactive like Duke Nukem, and the enemies act like those in F.E.A.R.
The game is built on a heavily enhanced Doom-engine (GZDoom) and looks great.
Highly recommended. Selaco is probably the best game I've played this year.

The game is now good and how it should've been on release, if you get all the DLC's.

I'll start with the bad parts. There's still some QoL issues like cluttered loadout UI and skill tree. There's also the lack of numbers on stats, which was fixed back in payday 2 but is still a problem in payday 3. There's also the issue that a lot of the content is locked behind paid DLC.

The good part is that the heists are fun, the gameplay is tight and the game gets somewhat frequent updates. I would now recommend Payday 3 when the DLC's are on sale.

It's good and worth it at full price.
