It still works on Windows 11!

I had an email chain going back and forth with THQ Nordic's support team.
They've been really awesome in helping. What they recommended finally that worked is:

"The game max. resolution for Sacred Gold is 1024x768, so the game won't run in a higher one. The freeze is because your computer resolution is higher.

To solve this:

Open your Steam Library.

Right click on the game's title and select Properties.

On the General tab you'll find Launch Options section.

Enter the launch options you wish to apply, in your case -w 1024 -h 768 (be sure to separate each code with a space).

Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

Remember, this is the higher resolution for Sacred to run.

Also, go into your Program filesx86, steam folder, steam apps, common, Sacred gold, config, and change your color settings to 32bit."

I also set Sacred Gold application to Windows 98 compatibility.
Xp service pack 2 and 3 didn't work.
Anyway, happy to say I got it working in Windows 11. It still lives!
