As a Souls Veteran, This game is worth the challenge against various Bosses, great combat experiences, and appreciation of the scenery.

Final Fantasy XV - It could have been a better game

Often times there are games of any series that many people were looking forward to play either their fans for the game play, the narrative of the story, or the just name sake of a gaming franchise. Most Likely any one of these categories will not meet the expectations fans were hoping for, thus the game is not great nor terrible. Lets take for example: Final Fantasy XV.

- The Game Play -

8/10

Final Fantasy XV's game play is rather in good terms of the lock-in, partner AI, Enemy AI, Real Time Battle, and Leveling System. However the Leveling System is a bit redundant, for Example: when ever you defeat an enemy or group of enemies, you gain experiences points but you need to rest in order for your party to add experiences to level up, why not add experiences in right away after battle? speaking of battles, when ever I want to switch a character to play as during battle I have to push two buttons to open a small menu of characters of the party. I find it a bit dumb, why not do it with one button to make it easy to choose during a boss fight?

- The Story -

6/10

The Story is Simple to follow but told poorly. There's so much that been left out to tell a complete story (I'm excluding the DLCs,) the first act started good then the second act that made the story fell apart because they never fully explain about why the empire attack insomnia, whats the main villain motives, whats the main characters background, and why should we care. I hated when stories started out strong then there's something that where not developed or explained.

- The Visuals/Soundtrack -

8/10

I had no problem with the visuals or the soundtrack, the visuals on the most part are beautifully well done, from the scenery to the models of the monsters, and characters and the soundtrack is pretty well orchestrated.

- The Conclusion -

7/10

Final Fantasy XV by all means a good game, not a great nor terrible. I wish it could have been a better game then it is right now.

Final Fantasy VII has always been my favorite game for the Playstation 1, and I was able to play it again on the PC Port.

Its a Great game for fans of JRPG and for introducing new fans of the Final Fantasy series, and here is why:

-
THE
GAMEPLAY
-

Its a real-time turn base game, basically where time dont stop for you when your strategizing your tactics and enemies will attack you unless you act fast on what you have in your arsenal.

The gameplay itself is good, pretty strong system wither you use magic mechanics or physical damage orientation as your personal play style against obstacles through out the game.

-
THE
VISUALS
-

Comparing the graphics between the PS1 vs. PC port, the PC port's graphics on the models are enhanced and cleaned but the weird part of the models that bugged me is some of them have a black oval shape on the mouth area look like their mouth is broken and cant close it.

The backgrounds is pretty much the same as the original however since its enchanced, its looks like paintings of landscapes.

-
THE
STORY
-

Personally, good stories in any game interest me from the characters to the world building, it is fascinating to learn and to understand for how their world works.

The Story is the best part of this game, its tells you what the characters want, what drive them, and what is the meaning of that drive, and this includes the villain of what push him into insanity of want to burn the world before him. Exploring the world and understand its rules and its history, and whats at stake.

-
THE
CONCLUSION
-

The game is fun, but can be bit weird in terms of gameplay or character models. The PC port is somewhat the same as the PS1 version but with slightly enhanced visuals, and the story is fantastic.

If you just back home from work or school and looking a fantasy JRPG, then this game is for you.

No Doubt this game is the weak link of the Dark Souls franchise.
But its kind of guilty pleasure to enjoy playing this despite its flaws.

This game is the most awesome game that I ever played. When I first heard about this game, I tell myself if thats the game that I would like? when I played it I got my answer...

But I heard about these items called the promo items and I want to get those items but sadly I learned you have to pre-order some games in a limited time, but is those items are gonna come around again next or so?
