*Dying Light - 5/10*

Not sure why this is so highly rated. This game borrows a lot from other zombie games but doesn't expand itself beyond that. It doesn't try to do anything new beyond the parkour system. It also has a LOT of issues.

The parkour system is really fun when you first start getting into it, but unfortunately the game offers nothing else of interest to keep you engaged. The combat system is not all that good and gets quite repetitive after a while. The sewage/underwater sections are a drag to go through as well. Some of the zombie types are interesting/fun to play against like the zombie baby, but it's nothing new or innovative. Fortunately, the day/night system is a nice addition that keeps things interesting.

The story and the writing are the worst parts about this game. It's HORRIBLE. The writing at many times is cheesy, horrendous or just simply put, poorly written. Story is extremely cliched and predictable.. All of the characters are cardboard characters. None of the characters are interesting or have anything to offer and you don't have much reason to really care about them. There are some stupid/odd character choices as well. The villian suffers from the same unfortunate issues (uninteresting and poorly written). Then you got yourself a QTE boss fight at the very end of the game. Just press some buttons. That's it... And that ending/conclusion... god awful.

Perhaps if you really love zombies games, you might enjoy this one for it's addition of its fun parkour system. Unfortunately, this is a HARD pass for me due to the awful story/writing and average, repetitive combat. There were also a few bugs I came across here and there.

RATING: 5/10

*Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist - 6/10*
Dissapointing and average singleplayer, but a solid co-op and a very well made multiplayer.

Singleplayer - 5/10
The singleplayer falls flat. What is suppose to be the best part about Splinter Cell is the worst. This game feels more like an action movie than an actual tension filled stealth game. There's even obvious moments in the campaign where they are forcing the action onto you. You feel like a one man army with all your mines and grenades. And with all the enemies, tight spaces, and bad level design, it feels like the game wants you to go all out rambo. These are the problems that make the game a straight forward action shooter. That's the complete opposite of what Splinter Cell is suppose to be. Where's the REAL tension that the older Tom Clancy games provided?

And the plot, oh god, It's terrible... Cliched, unoriginal and generic. "Oh my god! Terrorists are attacking USA, WE MUST STOP THEM!!!" Simple and stupid. The characters all feel dull and generic, even Sam Fisher himself. Also, where's the dark humor that the other Splinter Cell games had?

Co-op - 6/10
Now this would be a wonderful co-op if it weren't for the several bugs it has. It's still very fun. There is a decent variety of missions and all of them are exciting and fun to play with a friend. Unfortunately, everytime I play the co-op I encounter several bugs. I always encounter another new bug sooner or later. Other than the annoying bugs, the co-op is solid.

Multiplayer - 7/10
The best part of the whole game. Spies vs. Mercs is extremely fun, unique and surprisingly deep. I love it. You play as either the spies who have to hack 3 locations or mercs who are heavy gunners that have to stop the spies from doing so. Both teams have different abilities and gadgets. Whenever a spy activates the hack, the match fills with tension. The spy that activated the hack has to hide from the mercs. If the spy dies, the hack turns off. It's awesome when you see a merc go right by you unaware where you are. As a merc, you have to find this spy before the hack reaches 100%. You also have to watch your back as a spy can sneak up behind you and kill you. There's also a good amount of strategy involved and it makes for a very fun competitive game.

There are only 5 gamemodes, but SvM Blacklist is really the best one. The others are okay, but nobody really plays them unfortunately. Sometimes, the game doesn't balance out the teams very well. I've experienced matches with high levels vs very low levels. The turning radius in this game is also pretty wide for some reason. Other than those problems, the multiplayer is great.

LOL wtf was this... First of all, I am a HUGE Halo PC fan. I grew up playing the first halo on the PC, as well as the second and I fell in love with both games, especially the first. When I heard a new Halo game was finally coming out for the PC, I was excited. Unfortunately I found out it wasn't a multiplayer Halo, instead it was just a port of a mobile game, but I still gave it a chance. I regret doing so. This game is a extremly generic top-down shooter with halo skins and sounds added on... That's it. The story is short, lame, boring, and dull. It's just a few cutscenes, some voiceovers and boxes of text....... Missions get repetitive and boring very early in the game. Also, no co-op... even though the Xbox One version has it. While the game is only $5, all it really is a time killer game. If microsoft can give us this Halo, then they can give us Halo 3.

5/10 = Average.
