When I found out owning XCOM: Enemy Unkown got me into this alpha free, I felt I needed to check it out. I had seen some gameplay, and wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but ohhhhh man; This game is something special. I've only been in about eight or so games and I'm really liking it. The progression isn't super fast, but also not excruciatingly streached out. Controls are intuitive and easy to get a hang of (The controller controls at least, haven't played with keyboard and mouse yet.) And most of all it's just flat out fun. My hart was pumping as I tore apart the hunters whom had chased after me. The only thing to see now is if it will stand the test of time. It's a wild and fun ride for my first hour so far, but will it still be fun after playing it for months? It's hard to say, but you owe it to your self to check this game out, wether you wish to tear at puny humans or take down a mighty beast with your friends, I give Evolve a solid 8/10.
