I bought this game when it was in vogue and it was fun but needed polishing. I took a break and was going to come back but it's dead and the devs haven't updated it in a year.

Had real promise. Don't waste your money.

Man, me and the boys have had a ton of fun playing since the closed beta. Good AOE2 vibes with some nice improvements that really differentiate the civs. HUGE QOL improvements over AOE2 DE. While AOE2 will always be my favorite, AOE4 is a breath of fresh air in the RTS space. There is more work to be done on the game, of course. Minor gripes include not being able to choose my team color unless I manipulate my team slot and some other small things that I am sure will be worked out as development continues. Get out there and raze your enemies to the ground!
