Feels like a fan of the first two games made this one but had no idea how to create the same atmosphere of this world.
The levels felt so disconnected from each other and for me the game it self felt too disconnected from the first two games.

Other that you need a controller and a graphical mod (DSfix) to really play the game, the game itself is amazing and should still be played before any other of the dark souls games. The lore is there (maybe hard to find it) and it is really deep as it goes from the start of time to where you come in and beyond.
