As of the most recent update, this game has incredible depth. You can fiddle with the genetics of various subspecies in the world now, and it's very fun. For the price point of $20, it currently has a lot of value as something you can sink a lot of time into, just playing around with the various systems and attaching yourself to individual things in your world. With all the ways you can tweak the variables of the world and its inhabitants, it also very successfully fulfills the fantasy of playing god to thousands of tiny people.
