Most fun I had in an extraction / PvP game in general in a long while.

I enjoy the game. Like what's been done. I do feel the Devs often make changes then walk back changes based off streamers, etc. Overall I enjoy the game and the modes currently available. I play with my son quite often and we have a good time going through the various classes, leisurely playing the pve mode, failing and noobing at PvP, and doing arena.

Really great game. I like the verticality and the customization. I can built up 16 levels and I can build down 16 levels. Tunnels and Towers. There are few Rim or DF-like colony builders that allow that. I really like Colony sims where I have the individuals with story and levels and the overworld with travel and combat and conquest. This game does all of that. The customization is really good as well. Cannibals, Vegetarians, what... or who.... to wear. Really good. I also personally really enjoy the graphics of the world. The models and how the world looks, to me, is really clean and fresh. I definitely recommend if you enjoy DF or Rim and need a little something else. As far as I know, there is nothing even close. Unless you get that one game by Paradox where you're stuck on an alien planet (Can't dig in that one though or terraform, also its dead) or that medieval one which I like but the dev is impossibly slow and not nearly as much to do in it imo. By far Noble Fates hits that sweet spot. Also, devs are dope. Just go browse the forum. Very active and helpful. Genuinely seems like this isn't just a product but a work of passion.

I just bought the game. After watching it since release.

As for survival game experience: Sort Steam by "Top Seller" I own all of them.
Forest, Conan, SCUM, DayZ, 7DTD, ARK, Zomboid, ATLAS, Stranded, Subnautica.... name it. I own it. Raft.... idfk....

That said.... I'm seeing a ton of negativity. So I dont know what the game was before but currently Im having a lot of fun personally.

I like how the schematic system is (Which is a point of contention)
When I die or items break it gives me a good loop of go hunt, kill, get them. Stock up on them.
Enjoying my basic-btch hut I've made with my crafting Stations.
Loving the feel of Combat versus monkey-guys.
The art and style are really good. Soundtracks dope.

My only complaints so far:

Cant snap wood base to sand base. I.E. Wood Foundations to Sand Foundations.
Just kinda gotta build a whole new base and recycle.

Also can't move stuff once placed.

I've only played 11 hours. Have a full tier 1 upgraded Starter Walker and basics. (Work all week :( )
I'll update this review but I'd recommend.
I need to get out and see more of the world to really give more an in depth review.

Played on Launch. It was a mess. Community was horrible. Been bored, Redownloaded (Bought my Son a PC. Wanted something to play with him. 8 years old). We've been having a freaking blast. Environments are nice, Ships are fun to sail, He love loves the grappling hook. My other buddy picked up the game to play with us. We spent the day sailing looking for treasure and goofin off. Like what they changed with the ships, maps, and skills. Definitely been enjoying bonding over some piracy.

I'm working and on mobile. Pardon this review.

I've got to say... wow.
I've played mmos since 1996 with ultima online. Vanguard.Ever quest. Star wars galaxies. Name it.

I founded shadowtusk clan on WoW.

MO2 is the only mmo I've seen worthy in years aside for ashes of creation which isnt out yet.

I'm only 13 hours in and omfg.
Now... this isnt a glowing review. It's not without some janky. The forests feel a bit empty. Some graphical issues. Some things feel a bit off... but after following and then buying I'm excited by what I see.

The community seems dope af.
The mechanics and skill system is the best I've seen in 15+ years.
Housing and intricate crafting? Insane.

As for the subscription.... as someone who grew up in the golden era of real MMOs.... I'm beyond glad they've a subscription.

Helps support the game and removes cash shop ♥♥♥♥.
I've paid subs on and not limited to some of the best games I've ever played.
Star wars galaxies and ultima online being the top.
EQ 1 and 2
Vanguard
Warcraft
A bunch of other mmos I dont remember.
I easily spend 20-60 a month burning through games that dont have an evolving singular political climate with clan names, faces, and stories like you get in a proper MMO.

I'll update once I've more time in game, I'm not at work, and I'm not on a cellphone.
