Server issues fixed. This game is an excellent pickup. Helldivers to hellpods, repeat, helldivers to hellpods.

The building in this game is clunky and awful. Go get Space Engineers instead.

Addicting. Best elements of Ark, Darksouls, and many other games. This game is great.

The story is one of the worst I have ever seen.
The gameplay makes up for it 300%.

It doesn't live up to the 2016 version. If you really like doom, it's ok.

Gameplay:
Playing alone, the game sucks. However, once you find a good clan with an active Teamspeak or Discord, the game becomes like 10x more fun. Having logged over 100 days in playtime, I'm not sure if I actually enjoy the game or if I have self-induced stockholmsyndrome, but I love the game none the less. The grind is there but is completely optional and will most times not stop your progress through the game at all. Please remeber though, this is a F2P game with MMORPG attributes, so there is some grinding that is required, but it's not that bad.

Economy:
Despite what the negative reviews say, this game is NOT pay-to-win. Paying offers you the ability to get some exclusives cosmetics and get platinum (the game's premium currency) fast. Platinum is used to buy weapons (that you can get through normal gameplay), buy a huge variety of cosmetics and utility items, rush the crafting process, and trade with players. The glory of it? You can get platinum without spending a dime! Warframe has a great, 100% player-run economy. Through sometimes fun, sometimes not fun grinding, you can earn lots of platinum completely free.

Devs:
The developers are just absolutely amazing people that listen to their community. If you want an example of this, go to [DE] Steve's twitter (@sj_sinclair) and look at all of his responses to fans talking about their ideas for mechanics or features in the game. Apart from that, they consistently host Dev Streams to show the player base what's coming to the game and where they are in the developement process. During these streams, they give away large platinum prizes to random viewers and take questions from the players. They are incredibly responsive on forums (as much as one human being mentioned hundreds of times a day can be) and are some of the kindest and funniest people you could have the pleasure of talking to. Not only that, but the customer support team is deserving of praise on their own. During their operation hours, my tickets hardly go an hour without a response at most. I could go on so much longer, but I think you get the idea.

Content Updates:
This is the only place I'm going to be even the slightest bit negative. Content updates do not come out incredibly often and they usually do not contain much in the way of adding more to the game. Major updates come out around twice to three times a year, that USUALLY just involve one 30 minute to an hour quest, some new weapons, and MAYBE a new game mechanic. They are also NOTORIOUS for delaying these updates, sometimes as much as several months. On the other hand, DE (the company behind Warframe) has showed us their newest W.I.P. that should be coming out soon(TM)., Plains of Eidolon. This is going to be the first true open-world experience for Warframe, with a 3km by 3km area to explore. If you haven't already, I recommend watching the full, 17 minute gameplay demo/trailer on Youtube. (Not sure if it'll work because of Steam's weird link system, but here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuKYFVoK73A)

Story:
Absolutely amazing story with tons of lore. Obviously, I'm not gonna tell you much more because, well, spoilers, y'know? ("...You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?")
