Pros:
* Great amount of control over the models
* Hundreds of pre-made poses
* Lighting and FOV sliders
* Muscle group toggle
* Furniture and misc models

Cons:
* Camera controls are pretty clunky. It's hard to get the exact angle you want.
* Manipulating parts can be pretty sensitive, and the undo isn't always reliable.
* You can't finely tune your model besides height/muscle %. (No fat slider, etc)

Disclaimer: I am using this product in Linux. However, I have not noticed any abnormal performance while using Proton.

I would highly recommend this game if you have friends to play with. It's well worth the price thanks to the workshop.

I feel mixed but positive about the game. I kept my expectations in check since it was announced and never expected anything closely similar to the DS games, coming from a decade-long hiatus; as I've said before, that's a fairly unreasonable expectation. The new direction with puzzle-based levels is interesting, though not a bad move on its own. For what it's worth, I think these levels are better than DTL1, though less memorable and far more repetitive (I still can't get over the issues in the first game's level design); though, these levels are a larger step down from DTL2. I think they could have improved this formula by removing the timer and introducing a bit more of a platformer-focus into the level design, even if it retained that puzzle aspect. DTL1&2 felt like exploration, while these levels felt like tasks. The biggest issue I have with the game is the optional challenge levels. There are some significant difficulty scaling issues with some of those levels, especially if you're going for a three-star bonus in all levels like I am. All around, a few of the levels need to be far less challenging. Bosses would be nice too, please. please... :)

I had minor annoyances with the day/night cycle animation, the fact you can't customize keybinding, and the overall lack of drawings in the Village. The story is nowhere on the same level as the DS versions. I don't think it's terrible; it's just not fantastic. As someone who really got engrossed in the story for the first two games, I feel a little "meh" about the storyline. Still, I appreciate that there's something there; it's not soul-less like some people feared, at least not in my opinion, and it does add to the previous entries.

The music and graphics in the game are fantastic. Far better than either of the DS games, in my opinion, especially in music. I just wish there was more to see! This is, of course, subjective.

I understand that it's hard not to be excited over a new installment to the series after so many years. Still, I feel like it should have been evident that this wasn't going to be the continuation many of us dreamed of. Though it's heavily attached to the original storyline, Two Realms can stand on its own. For that reason, I'm more compelled to judge it on that basis. For the price I paid, I had an enjoyable experience. There are issues in this game, but if it receives patches like we're expecting, many of those will likely be resolved. If there ever is a future game, I just hope it improves on the Next Chapter (Puzzles are nice, but I miss the adventure and story-focus!), with smaller sprinkles of what Two Realms attempted to bring to the series.

Short but serious review:

Overall, I recommend Starbound. There's a surprising amount of content available which means you can create just about everything. In a way, I actually like building in Starbound more than I do in games like Terraria and Minecraft. However, Starbound also feels empty, in a way. Basically, once you see all of the planet types, there's little left for you to discover. That, and the story mode in this game is just... lacking (although the character progression is good!). Honestly, that's my only gripe though. More content is still being added (albeit very slowly) and mods help a LOT. I'd heavily recommend this game if you're comfortable with installing (possibly many) mods, but without mods you might want to dig deeper to see if this is a good fit for you.
