Good remaster of an already timeless PS2 game. It's a Final Fantasy that strayed from the traditional path of the series and ended up a brilliant hallmark of the series for me and many others. It has an engaging story and an insanely pleasing OST. The thing I like about this game is that it forces you to adapt. You will be forced into situations and bosses, especially, that will make you want to pull your hair out, but that only makes the payoff sweeter when you progress in this game. Later in the game, especially, as the enemies become downright broken with numerous insta-kill abilities that even Ribbon can't guard against, you will be forced to engage with the game's mechanics like the Gambit system to streamline your party and keep them an effective fighting force. Don't miss this game for the price tag.
