Possibly the best thing to happen to the FNAF universe in recent years.
While it may not be a masterpiece, if you’re a fan of the franchise, this game is definitely worth your time.
The first few playthroughs are engaging, especially when exploring the alternate endings.

Spoiler: If you aim to unlock all achievements, be prepared to replay the game multiple times on different difficulties and for three separate endings.

Be aware that achievements might not register on the first attempt (as was the case for me), so some repetition is to be expected.

Highly recommended!
I’ve completed the game with all achievements and spent dozens of hours in it. It’s a fantastic choice whether you’re playing solo or with someone else. While the gameplay may not be entirely unique, the visual style reminiscent of classic cartoons gives the game a distinct and memorable charm.
The experience leaves a lasting impression, and you’ll likely remember it fondly long after finishing.

The game is well-polished, with very few bugs. You can challenge yourself or simply enjoy the experience at your own pace.

If you have the chance, definitely consider purchasing the game along with its DLC.

EXTREMELY Not Recommended

For context, I've gone through the game for all the achievements and am keeping track of his appearance and death

I strongly advise against playing this game. Once you take off the nostalgia glasses and look at it with a clear head, it’s nothing more than a lazy and unfinished project.

The original concept was brilliantly simple and genuinely interesting. Even the pre-alpha version plays better than the final release — you could feel the tension. The neighbor would actually change his house, board up windows, and there was a strong sense of progression. All of that is gone in the release.

The animations are heavily cut, the AI is dumbed down and stripped of complexity, and the physics and object interaction are by far the worst part of the final version.

> Spoiler During the supermarket fear, to place an item you’ll have to go through the seven circles of hell.

Do NOT play this game under any circumstances. Don’t support laziness in development disguised behind riddles and a storyline that’s been rewritten a dozen times.

The second part is as good as the first, but it answers all the questions from the past and raises new ones. Among the downsides are the running around the location and, at times, the repetitive gameplay. However, I believe that in this game, the main focus is on the plot and the detailed conditions of the locations. Sometimes I am amazed at how well the world is thought out, making you believe that such a place could exist in reality. The world is well thought out but not completely revealed. For example, in the first part, it is stated that besides the school, there is nothing in the "Coma" space, and you explore the world through the notes of a mysterious guy. In the second part, these notes are also present but presented differently. The player learns a cohesive story of a specific character rather than scattered parts of stories. This is more of a change than a drawback. I recommend everyone to play it if you enjoy unraveling worlds and delving into them; you will like it.

A maximally enjoyable and interesting project that leaves behind many questions. The gameplay doesn't get boring; it's a standalone product that doesn't require mandatory completion of a sequel. The game intrigues with its incompleteness and mystery. And some of the questions can be answered if you show interest.

I was honestly pleasantly surprised playing this game. It's the best work in the gaming industry that I've played recently. It has everything needed for a successful project:

  • Well-developed characters and their motivations
  • Freedom of choice that truly gives a sense of freedom in actions
  • Active and engaging gameplay (with occasional game pauses for emotional relief)
  • A nice, yet melancholic end to the first season's story (it's hard to get me emotional, but this title managed to do so)
  • Many unexpected twists that, like life experiences, toughen and teach not to be naive

If I were asked to choose the best episode, I couldn't answer, as each is good in its own way. If you want to immerse yourself and feel the world after a zombie apocalypse, this is the game for you. You'll experience the full range of emotions and be left with sad but pleasant impressions.

I rate it 9/10 because of some non-critical bugs like characters disappearing between scenes, doors opening and closing without animation, etc. But I encountered few of these. I highly recommend this project to delve into the world of the zombie apocalypse.

Why you should buy Project Zomboid

1.A great game, but not for casual players!

In this game, you're not the main hero tasked with creating a vaccine, etc. Here, you're a character writing your own story and trying to survive in inhumane conditions. Every trip for resources could be your last. And why did I call this game not for casual players? Because in every house, there might be an alarm that changes the direction and plans of your survival. Dying here is equally easy in the early stages as well as in the late stages, and over time, problems will only keep arising, such as a helicopter, power outage, water outage, and disappearance of television programs.

2.The game gets even better with friends!

How can we skip talking about the best part, which is the online aspect. With a group of 5-8 friends, you won't want to leave this game. Without thinking, you'll divide and create factions or start a war for resources. But it's hard to describe this truly ingenious thing since scenarios and plots will be different for everyone..

Tip: It's advisable to increase the number of zombies from 3 to 10 times. It will make it more interesting and challenging

3.The plot
The plot is not the main aspect of the game, but one of the most interesting ones. It is delivered through the television, radio, and the environment. However, rarely can you simultaneously develop skills and explore the plot. So, I recommend watching the plot after 30-50 hours of gameplay to truly feel the game's atmosphere.

There are many more things you need to experience for yourself. If I tell you about them, it might negatively influence your perception of the game.

So, buy it and don't regret it! Good luck to everyone!
