Good game

Seemed like fun, but never really got into it

Uplay wasn't acting weird, at least not for me, so I enjoyed this game to the fullest.

You should definitely buy Mirror's Edge, and here's why

Mirror's edge gives you a unique free run experience. You can even run on the wall!
Though the story is short, it's definitely interesting. I completed the game in 7 hours, but it might take you longer as you die quite a lot.

The enemies in this game make it way harder to complete a part of a level. They kick you, and shoot at you.

The graphics are great for its time, you could compare it to some games from now! What isn't that great is the fps cap, but with a small change in the files, it will run at as high as your graphics card allows it to.

Let's talk about the levels for a second. The levels get harder and harder as you progress. Which sometimes makes it frustrating, and some people may ragequit. Though you'll have to use the same skills over and over again, the levels aren't boring. Everytime you start a level, you're in a completely different location. Sometimes you're at ground level, and sometimes on the roofs.
The red textures indicate where you have to go, though sometimes you might get stuck as sometimes they're located too far from eachother. You'll just have to keep on looking for them.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be out in 2016. If you can't wait for that one, then just play this one!

I didn't expect this to be a good game, as I didn't like the handheld version. But this is a very good game. The free roam, all the characters, just basically everything! If you weren't sure about buying it, you definitely should buy it.
