I really, REALLY want to like this game - it's gorgeous, the music is great, I'm interested in the plot....but it is so. damn. slow. Attacking is slow. Moving is slow. the 'bullet-time' actions are horribly coded so your attacks only sorta kiiinda go where you want them to. Not to mention the total lack of a tutorial. I'm not sure if I should be using click-based movement or WASD. both seem clunky with the attacks being set to the number line, and the fact that the movement grid is on a diagonal is edgy at best, and inconveniencing at most. I am so glad I bought this game while it was on sale. . . I'm incredibly disappointed at the mechanics for what the visual and audio tempt you into buying. There's more I wish I could say but....Transistor doesn't offer much.
