Similar concept to Lethal Company, but way more balanced in terms of getting enough loot to meet the quota without the pressure of a timer + difficulty increasing the longer you stay, plus there's opportunities to revive fallen team members instead of having to wait till the end of the level to be able to start playing again. Proximity chat works very well (just like in Lethal Company), and some monsters are quite sensitive to noise which makes for some funny moments. There's also some nice upgrades and equipment you can use to help progress further into harder levels (Lethal Company was quite limited in this area, at least back when I last played), so you might feel like your stamina and strength are underwhelming at first but you can improve these stats at the shop after every level (providing you make a decent amount of money from looting!).

The game devs seems to be quite active on communicating with the players on future content, the recent update to the game added more maps, monsters, equipment etc, so seems like the game will continue to grow which is great to see.

It's Elden Ring, stop looking reviews and just buy it already!

Armored Core is back BABY!

Kinda started it's own genre, and is still the best at it! Constant updates, endless replayability, always have that itch to play again and again... all for the price of a hot drink?! There's a reason it's so highly rated, and for the price you don't have any reason not to pick it up!

Surprisingly good game to play with a friend (or up to three friends), an interesting set of puzzles in multiple procedurally generated dungeons (adapts to the number of players), large variety of enemies to fight plus bosses which will surely kill you on your first attempt (at least!). There are several zones across the world map (your typical grass/snow/lava/jungle etc), as well as a home hub which is your main source of progression by constructing buildings for different NPCs in order to acquire new quests, new classes and to level your stats and equipment.

If it's on deal and you're in the market for a new co-op that's easy to jump in, definitely grab it - you'll get a good number of hours play and all of which will be great co-op fun!

Better than 6

Imagine a 2D platformer version of Dark Souls, but with an abundance of character and charm - it would be Hollow Knight.

Incredibly drawn characters and world, a beautiful soundtrack, and many hours of enjoyment and sense of accomplishment through its vast world to explore and varying enemies you'll fight - die to - learn from - then finally overcome.

Oh my god...this game is perfect. The visuals...the sounds and music...the movement of the character, fish and plant life are absolutely mind-blowing.

2-hours of perfection beats 50+ hours of a typical, unoriginal lifeless game anyday. If you're ever feeling down...this game is the cure.

It's good fun, a laugh with friends, and doesn't take long to complete

Incredible pixel art, fantastic story, and very clever & well designed puzzles / levels. Hats off to the artists as I've never seen such large scale and detailed pixel art like that before. Definitely glad I picked up this gem!
