This game has everything,

Lunk will practice his spin attack in the car if he's unhappy....and kill your team.
A goofy clown will transport you to a haunted clown-of-the-dead cabin for a night of terror.
Dogs can be thrown into science machines to become dog-men....that will waste all of you ammo.
Elvis will threaten the light a bridge on fire and trap a group of people unless they back down...and then he burns it down anyway!
The freest man in the world roams on foot at inscredible speed wearing nothing but a horse mask.

I can go on and on, but just go see for yourself! The rare character mode alone is enough for a great game, but when you get creative and add your own characters based on friends/family/popular celebs (I like making a Doc Brown and Rick Sanchez party of custom characters to start a trip), and then if they see me with a dog on the side of the raod you better believe it's going to be an amazing adventure.

I'm putting a 'no' in the reccomendation for this game, even though I like it very much.
The reason for that is I feel like the game as it stands at release feels like an easy-mode, or intro-difficulty map, and that there should be more maps to progress into.

As others have said before, many of this game's aspects are top notch: the music, the card art, the production value of taking each action, and the list goes on. Even with all of that though, the gameplay experience is so similar each time you play that it gets too repetitive far too fast.

Most games have easy maps/levels to start out with, and progress into larger, more complex, and more immersive worlds to play around in as you get farther and gain more experience on how to formulate strats to win. Sadly, Armello has but one map, and it feels pretty homogenous each playthrough.

I could see potential though through DLC expansions or future content additions. I believe a key to making this a truly great game would be larger maps with a wider variety of tiles and an increased number of action points. Different maps could have different sets of win conditions, and different events at the start of day and night. A wider tile variety would be something that could be done with each map, as different areas would have their own tiles unique to that map, and that along with map variation (either choose the map or play one at random) could give players a chance to better customize which type of experience they want each game, and give each playthough a fresh feel.

I know this sounds like a tall order, and maybe even a project for Armello 2 instead of add-ons here, but the point I'm trying to make is that this game has the potential to be great. Wheather it acheives that potential is up to the developers, and us in helping to fund them.

Pretty much feels like you're playing through a bunch of new Episodes of South Park (most are throwbacks of previous episodes, which is a bonus for fans of the series). The combat is basically taken from Paper Mario: one of the best turn-based RPG battle systems of all time. Even the follower/sidekick system is ripped right from Paper Mario (again, this is a good thing).

The production quality is amazing, there's an abundence of items/weapons/armor, everything is voice acted from the actors that do the show, and the humor of the show is spot on.

10/10 for South Park/RPG fans.

Early Access Review
I've been playing this game since fairy early in the closed beta, and even then it continued to challenge and entertain as a superb strategy tcg. A few points (some large, some small) that seperate Infinity Wars from other major TCGs such as Magic and Hearthstone:

1) Both players take their turns simultainiously, once both players have locked in their actions for the turn (you cannot see what your opponent decides to do until the turn happens) everything unfolds at the same time, making for fun and balanced (no 1st or 2nd turn advantage to exploit) game pacing.

2) The 3 combat zones, and command zone (4 zones total) in which cards can be moved around make for great strategy. You must utilize the zones to your advantage, as well as bluff and use mind games to keep your opponents on their toes. Your opponent might be pulling their hair out because of your use in manuevering your troops between the support and attack zones, leaving them unable to be dealt with.

3) All the artwork on the cards is animated! This might seem like a superficial point, and well it is, but it's something that Magic is unable to do, and Hearthstone only does on their 'golden' cards. In Infinity Wars all cards have artwork that has some level of animation to it, giving them a little more personality and depth.

4) It's still in beta! There's still so much more in the works that it's amazing. Even as is the game is a blast to play, yet in the future the game will only bloom and become even more robust and smooth in both gameplay and functionality of the UI.

5) It's FREE! Much like Hearthstone, this game can be played with zero dollars of investment. Through minimal daily effort it's possible to ammass a collection capable of building a fairly competitive deck, or at least enough points to start doing drafts (Rift Runs) on a regular basis.

6) Terror Moose!

Oregon trail in space! Also it has a Star Trek flavor that kicks red-shirt ass.
