Defeating bosses with one hand is an incredible experience.

This is possibly one of the best PC ports in recent history. Can't wait for june 11th!

As someone new to this type of game, it was kind of overwhelming at first. The feeling reminded me of stepping into a gym for the first time, surrounded by machines you don’t understand. Your brain can’t help but think, What the heck is all this for? Naturally, you gravitate toward what’s familiar dumbbells and bench presses. In this game, that translated to building a massive army and a bunch of farmers. Spoiler alert: that doesn't work.

Overwhelmed, you take a moment to sit on the metaphorical bench, scanning your options. Then, you spot the deadlift bar (it was a curl bar and you know it, don't lie to me!) something new and intriguing. You slap on a plate on each side and give it a go. In-game, this was like discovering the myth units from the temple. You crank out as many reps (units) as you can, getting that dopamine hit with each one.

When you’re done, you glance in the mirror, feeling pretty good about yourself. That’s when you march your newfound myth army out and crush the standard AI. Victory feels sweet. But just as you’re basking in your glory, a massive dude strolls into the gym. Reality hits—you’ve got a long way to go before you’re on that level. That’s the higher-difficulty AIs staring you down.


In the end? Great game.

They allowed a malicious file to be uploaded to their Workshop... I'd ask for a refund if I could!
