Too much simping has to be done.

Mother Russia Bleeds lets you play a Beat 'em up game with very basic mechanics, plus a nice gory story.
You could think that there are only few combos and if you get used to them you will beat the game and it will be a repetitive...

WRONG

Even though there are (very appreciated in my opinion) few options to maximize the potential of your combat, the simplicity is the key factor, which makes this game so great, If you master the combat, you can focus more on the (hella) gory artstyle, music and story,

The story is neat and has some unexpected turns but all in all basic. For a Beat 'em up title it's more than enough so it didn't let me lose the excitement from beginning to end.

But what the game is mostly good for is the MUSIC and GORE.
And oh boy is the music fantastic (search it up on YouTube). It makes you GO AND PROCEED TO MURDER EVERYTHING THAT MOVES CLOSE TO YOU.
Pixel art is mastered wonderfully and the detailed background is also nice.
The controls feel on point and your character executes everything with precision (though depth was kinda hard to calculate for me in the first 30 minutes).

Bosses are easy to little bit hard (little bit frustrating kind of hard --> you know, simple mechanics).

All in all, for a fighting game, it's just great for an unbeatable price and I would recommend to try it out
for everybody (not only die hard fans of Beat 'em ups).

- Weapons you can use feel smooth and unique.
- You can probably (not tested) play this game online co-op with the new steam streaming feature
- There is an option, which disortes the picture, so that it looks like you are playing on an old, crappy CRT monitor
- You can buy the "Dealer's edition" to get the soundtrack, little behind the scenes and AN EXTRA COPY FOR A FRIEND. Nice. (cheaper then buying two separate basic copies).

Bought it for like 3.5€. Nice concept and pretty easy to learn (hard to master). Calming music.
