GTFO rewards challenge seekers, completionists, and basic 'mechanical' game skills.

Every mistake you and your group makes makes compounds over the course of a run until your group finds themselves low on ammo and HP 1 hour 30 minutes into a run and your group gets wiped, all because of mistakes you made 1 hour ago in the run. It's a humbling experience to wipe with that much time spent in one mission and have to start again from square one. All the while you're on edge due to the atmospheric horror elements of the game present constantly as you play.

GTFO is a game you play when you and your group are ready to take on one of the most challenging coop PvE shooters created and as far as I'm concerned a one-of-a-kind experience. Highly recommended.

Coming from someone who has never played a FromSoft title before (AC Souls or otherwise), I was expecting crushing difficulty. But instead I found a happy little stroll through the flower fields of Rubicon, and while I want to be upset at how easy this game is, I can't be too hard.
The plot is a shocking mirror image of real life where within you give the middle finger to corpos and the gov't for your own best interests.
Game is excellent mechanically, plays like it's a 2023 game, with mechanics and systems that make sense for a game made this year, and a level of customization that puts MechWarrior to shame.

My one big knock to this game is how bare-bones and secondary MP feels to the game. With little to no proper matchmaking or lobby balance, only very basic settings, and a heavily solved meta. Still a good time though especially with some friends or styling on some randoms. Overall though, very much not a 2023 experience on the MP front, I've played GameCube games from 20 years ago with better MP functionality.

7.5/10 experience, would recommend.

Make sure to hug your Rusty tight every night, maybe a peck on the cheek every now and then.

The best Battlefield in years with gun customization similar to Escape From Tarkov and some of then better elements from Squad, all for 15 bucks. The graphical style is a plus in my book but some may be driven away from it. Best game I've played in years. This game is a must buy!

Highly recommend this game. It scratches a great itch of single player Escape from Tarkov mixed with the Stalker series games and a compelling 2d sprite based pixel art style. They can't add hardcore mode soon enough!

The only game out there where you can play as a cowboy in Louisiana shooting zombies and players alike with your 1800's AK-47.

I'll make this short.

The game has a hell of a grind (though it can be fun at times) and is flat-out imbalanced at some tiers, and somewhat buggy. But, all in all, the core gameplay is very fun, the constant events add much needed variety while making the game over-all more enjoyable and the historical accuracy on most of the vehicles in the game is pretty good, especially for WWII plane & tank afficionados like myself.

Over-all, I highly recommend this game IF you can get past the grind.

EDIT: Clarified some wording.

FTL is a very intresting and complex game, it's quite basic in terms of weapons, ships, races, sectors, and graphics. But that does not make it a basic game by any means, infact it can be the hardest game you have ever played and has almost unlimited replay value. Infact if told to, i probably would have payed double the asking price, its that good. It is a ship based game that takes place in a certain galaxy, and you, the captain need to guide your ship through 8 chalanging sectors, to save the galaxy. You have 9 completely different ships to chose from, each with their own different, races, layouts, weapons, designs, strategies, and of course types. There are currently 3 different layouts of each ship thus there are technicaly 29 different ships to chose from. Will you chose to go weapons heavy and obliverate anything that comes in your way,(limited by, luck.) or will you chose to methodicaly board and take out your enemies for better rewards the choice is usually yours. Luck is a huge factor in this game, but dont let luck control you! Be the bettter pilot and lead the Federation to victory!
