Early Access Review
Played about 3 hours of actual game play, 2 hour repeating bits.... which i'll get back to but so far absolutely loving it. I've played divinity, and BG3 feels very similar in the combat and such. However while in divinity it feels like you need to already know what you're doing or know where to go, BG3 that isn't the case. It feels a little more directed, some people won't like that however i prefer a little direction and less exploring. Same goes for the character creation, slightly simpler which people won't like, however i prefer.

In early access so there are bugs, the only two i have experienced are bodies spazzing out and one time where after loading into a new zone the screen went black and i couldnt see anything, meaning i had to alt-f4 and reload. This is where my only real gripe comes in, the autosave SUCKS. It only seems to save at key points, not when you load into new zone, so 2 hours of my game play is repeating stuff because i've died or when the screen went blank and i've had to repeat an entire zone. This has happened 2-3 times, to the point that after every little thing i just drop a save.

Honestly recommend picking this up, combat is fun, has a real D&D5e feel to it, the characters are interesting as you get to know them and the story is class. If you love divinity, pick this up.
