You either buy Arma or you don't. Reviews won't really help you out in this one.

The possibilities of fun in Arma are endless between the editor, the campaign, and the endless amount of mods/ modded servers in multiplayer. You'll probably find something to do somewhere. Altis Life is always a great distraction.

Edit: I'm still actively playing but offline mode isn't calculated in my time played

When I first started playing this game, I was definitely riding the hype-train and planned to give this a solid 10/10 rating. I will definitely still recommond this game but I can agree with some of the issues others have talked about.

1. Good optimization (not great, but solid framerates)
2. Main storyline is not as good as it could be but the side missions and "random" events found in the wasteland are absolutely superb.
3. I wish that when I holstered a weapon it was still visible. (Skyrim could do this, so where did it go?)
4. Option to turn off settlement management (Sometimes an enjoyable mode, other times a real annoyance)
5. How many legendary items are there?!
6. Ability to mod/upgrade outfits. (i.e. Cage Armor or Drifter Outfit)
7. Why are companions always standing in the doorway?!?!?!

The list could go on but really it's a solid game (Game of the Year at DICE now) with little quirks that might throw you off if you're nitpicking the game. I am still having so much fun and feel like I haven't barely scratched the surface.

Early Access Review
Spawn.
Wander the woods looking for anything because I am refusing to read a guide.
Find a nice looking tower on a hill.
Sneak through a clearcut area past a wolf and make it up the hill.
Climb in the tower as a blizzard hits.
Scavange what I can find.
Eat, Drink, Sleep.
You have faded into the Long Dark.
Spawn.
Wander along some railroad tracks.
Steal a jacket from a dead guy.
Watch a wolf slaughter a deer.
Sneak by.
Eat a granola bar from a dead guy.
Find a Lodge on a lake.
Scavenge.
Start a fire.
Eat. Drink. Sleep.
Explore the lake.
Scavenge.
Blizzard hits.
Fight a wolf like I'm Liam Neesan in the Grey.
You have faded into the Long Dark.

10/10 will continue to die repeatedly!

Space Ninjas and twitch firefights. Addictive and fun game! P2W is not a huge issue if you have the patience of at least a 12 year old kid. I'd recommend it for anyone who owns a computer. It's also an incredibly pretty game if you turn up those graphics.

Murder? Check.
Blood? Check.
Orgasm-inducing music? Check.
Butter up that butthole because it's going in dry difficulty? Check.
Get it. Play it. Do LSD. Profit.
