I really like this game and I'm sad that the marketing for this game is bad, but there are some issues with this game.

In general the game is a very hard SRPG, mostly in a good way.

The good
Items and AP: Instead of having one action per turn you can do multiple depending on your AP. The game also gives you a ton of items such as grenades, placements (turrets, barricades) and traps to place around the map. The items are highly effective and make combat missions dynamic and very fun.

Diverse Missions: A lot of missions play very different from one an other and need different ways to beat them. From standard A to B fights to 3 way fights where you are the weaker force.

Difficulty (non-stealth): Combat is oppressive, when you are getting battered by the enemy a new wave is already coming. You ask yourself how you can win this time, but you'll figure it out.

The Soundtrack: One of those that really elevate a game to the next level. Not much else to say that I think the ost you hear most of the time is great.

The Story and Tone: The story is intriguing where I always wanted to continue. But the biggest pro to the story is the consistent tone. The writers were not afraid of the story they are telling, they knew what they were doing and it works really well.

The visuals: I don't like chibi art style, but for some reason the visuals grew on me. The animations are very smooth and easily readable. I think some of the enemy full body 2d art and weapons look a bit goofy, but it didn't threw me off.

The bad
Stealth: You read the other reviews, yeah it's annoying. They break the otherwise good pacing of the game. Don't feel bad to read a guide on how to get S in some missions. I had to do it on at least one.

Bullet sponge bosses: Christ Oleg are you ok, this is more of an issue pre-act 4 but it gets silly how much damage some soldiers can take. Even worse they can counter attack and possibly 100 to 0 someone.

The collectable bug: There is a strange bug with steam save cloud where your save file of the collectables can become messed up. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that it unlocks the last act and ♥♥♥♥♥ with steam achievements. Just to be safe turn off steam save cloud. I don't even know if this fixes it.

The ugly
Weapons: You usually have 1 best option and that's it, there are also attachments which are little more then just stat buffs. I suppose it's a reward for going out of your way to get them in dangerous parts of the map, but it feels like they could've done a bit more with it.

Act 3: Act 3 is not bad, but they should have mixed act 2 and 3 together, and gave it the same treatment they did on act 4. act 4 is wonderfully non-linear This would fix a pacing issue where people quit in act 3.

Main Villain: Spoilers from here on out. Sugar was always the road blocker to the "good" ending in act 4. They should at least have given 1 of the major route's ending spotlight to Beria or Kirill. I feel the two of them are a bit underused.

I will dedicate this part of my review to the Jevon zone.

No more room in hell is a free zombie survival horror game.

This game is not just your average zombie survival game. Your character isn't immune, he isn't special. He is an civilian trying to survive, you can get infected and after some time you will turn into one of them, effectivly hindering your teammates or even catching them on suprise. And yes, you will die, a lot. Some of my friends get bored after one match and I can see why.

The game has got a rather big skill factor that you will see when you play the game more. It's very well made and it feels extremely rewarding to complete a rather hard map. But when you start you have mostly have no idea what to do. You will die, and die, and die again. It's boring to lose and lose again. But if you stick long enough you will see what you are capable off.

The main game has 2 modes, NMO and NMS, lets start with NMO.
NMO is a mode that is based around objectives, usally it's the left 4 dead style. Keep on moving until the end. But this game makes objectives random per game. On the same map you could be walking in a different section and doing different objectives then you did last time. Reducing repetitveness from this mode.
NMS on the other hand is more about defending Zones while searching for weapons and suplies as the waves come at you. This is possible to do solo but this mode will be A LOT more easy if you got a friend or more to help you out. I think this mode is harder then NMO because you are more dependend on your team. You can't just run away if everything fails. You got a zone to protect.

Now to the soundtrack in this game. It's a solid 10/10 for a free game and It is AMAZING. The soundtrack will fill you with despair, horror, but also hope when near the end. The soundtrack surely makes the atmosphere better by a big step.

tl;dr

This has to be one of the best free to play games here on steam. It feels very realistic and it's skill based. It has 2 modes which are both very fun to do and repetitveness is played out by placing different objectives on the same map. It's a must get and I recommend this to everyone that hasn't tried it out yet or didn't gave it a second chance.

"Again a game with zombies.... When will this end?"

Well yes this is a game about zombies and YES zombie games are very common, some of them suck, some of them are medicore, and some of them are Very good, like this one.

You start as a survivalist who has been in hiding in his bunker for 1 year in a zombie outbreak.
After 1 year you get out of your bunker and meet some people who help you start a community.

You have to search for food and water at the beginning. later you build a well for all your water needs and then you start your own farm which is a MUST because food will get scarce very fast.
You will come across other communities. Some will give you quest opportunity, others will give you a bullet to the face or they will take al your gold (The game currency).
If a character not from your community likes you very much you can recruit then in your community, making your community bigger and even stronger.

you can give community members objectives and tasks which they must do to keep up (searching for construction materials/Farm/Guard).
Skills are VERY important in this game, A character with a low fitness level and high firearms level is a smart choice to keep on lookout on one of your guard towers.

Last but not least, the zombies.
There are 5 types of zombies and there infection. (if they bite you you have limited time to find the right cure)

Green eye's: Most common of all the 5, if they bite you have a very long time before the infection kills you. low HP

Blue eye's: second most common of the 5. If they bite you you have a moderate amount of time before the infection kills you. Mid HP

Red eye's: Rare, Infection will kill within a minute. High HP

White eye's: Very rare, Infection will kill in seconds. Very high HP

Gray eye's(?): This infection is spread as a rumour so many don't belive in its existence, But it exists. I won''t tell it for spoiler reasons and I'm not going to make a spoiler tag because you will just look at it out of curiousity.

In short, This game is worth the 5 euro, damn it is even worth 20 euro, If you like survival games which include social systems and zombies, don't wait just buy.
