the cheater problem in this game is vastly exaggerated from what i've seen. maybe it's worse in other regions, but honestly i've encountered *maybe* 4 or 5 cheaters in this game ever (note the 400 hours of playtime), that i can remember at least, and almost all of them were banned not long after the match. also, to people saying it mechanically feels worse, basically the only two things they changed about the mechanics are the smokes and introducing the sub-tick system (which, say what you will, makes the game a lot funner and more responsive imo.) there's stuff not to like about cs2, like that it's missing a good few maps from csgo (although it's got most of the important ones), or that they changed the ranking system (which isn't horrible but i can understand the complaints), but overall i think most of the complaints about this game are petty or exaggerated. i like it somewhat better than csgo, but it's not for everyone. if you liked csgo, just give it a try. it's free.
