Dark Souls 3 has been the catalyst to why I can never ever play games on any difficulty except for the hardest one. This game hammered the fact that life is cruel and that you really just have to get good. In regards to that I did in fact get good and I recently came back to Platinum the game to show my appreciation for how much of a great experience it was. The build variety of this game is one of the many reasons I kept playing it over and over. The combat is the main selling point providing you encounters and bosses that just make you go "What the ♥♥♥♥ am I doing with my life,". I would also definitely recommend buying the DLC if you because both DLC's have bosses that were both amazing, intense, and hard (Also ringed city is literally one of the best areas in all of Dark Souls, but that's just my opinion). Dark Souls 3 has given me an amazing experience for years and I wish and hope other people will be able to get same enjoyment out of this game as I did!

An incredible port for the PC. There are a few minor issues and bugs but none that I can say are completely game breaking.

Anyways God of War has always been one of my favorite game series and this new formula that they've created for it has further enhanced my experience of the game. The combat is very satisfying you can of course just mash the light and heavy buttons, but on higher difficulties you have to definitely utilize every tool in your belt. Speaking about the difficulty I played the game on challenging and the difficulty of every encounter was always very tense and fun (coming from Dark Souls, Sekiro, etc.) I have this expectation that every fight needs to be a challenging fight for me to find it fun, and God of War really scratches that itch. The side missions almost always felt very interesting from the stories they tell to the actual rewards they give, it felt very rewarding and enticing to pursue and actually accomplish these side quests to be able to better gear yourself for tougher fights. The story was very refreshing. I've played all previous God of War games and I really do prefer this older, wiser, and more refined Kratos who has more control over his rage. Atreus also adds a very interesting layer to the game because not only does he act as a good story element, but also provides a great in game support once you begin to unlock his more amazing abilities. All in all I loved the game enough to Platinum it so if you really are on the edge on buying this game I really would recommend giving it a try before writing it off!
