Early Access Review
I've played a lot of Rhythm games, but this is my first one that I've really been able to get into for PC. For those of you like me who was on the fence about getting this game, here's a few reasons why I think you should try it out:

- Very fluid controls. Not the easiest to get the hang of but they're very satisfying and make me shiver when I get a really hard section right. Learning to hit beats and spins properly feels really good, especially if its in a hard passage.

- Variety of songs. This game, unlike most I've played, isn't just loud and boring dubstep. There are the occasional dubstep songs in there to appease the masses, but this game also has some beautiful melodic songs, some retro songs, and even a straight up song you'd hear in a crossfit class. It really covers the genres that rhythm games are good for and the drops are awesome.

- Evenly-spaced skill ceiling. Most rhythm games are either abhorrently easy, or just plain stupid. Spin Rhythm XD makes even easy and medium level songs feel satisfying to play, so you can still have fun while you're learning the controls. The jumps to each difficulty feel warranted, and also rewarding to get to. They'll take a while to get the hang of, but it's really easy to see your progress as you get better and learn to play the harder songs (The game organizes songs by difficulty, which is also really helpful for learning)

- Graphics. Obviously when you're playing the songs you're at the level to, you won't have time to stop and admire the things that are happening in the background. But if you've already learnt a song or just wanna chill on a lower difficulty, you'll realize just how beautiful the background is. Some songs (not all) have beat maps in the background and it feels really cool to see, especially on hard songs and above that have more beats and taps.

My only real gripe with this game is that there aren't enough tracks for me. Granted, almost all the songs on there are absolute bangers, but once you learn all of them, you'll lose interest kinda fast. Luckily for me I'm still working on getting to the last difficulty, so I've still got plenty more to play! I'm also really hoping more songs will get put in, as the game is still only in early release, so if everything works out, this could easily become my favourite rhythm game. :-)
