This review is negative for 2 reasons:

This is NOT really a game, This would have been better suited as a show. It's set up like it was going to be a show then they tried to add on just to turn it into a game to make more money off of it. Maybe they couldn't get a distributor for it idk. I love critical role, I love the cast, I love everything about them, but they are starting to turn, the way everything else in this ♥♥♥♥ hole country. Everything is about making money for them.

If they wanted to do this in game form they could have done role actions which would have been way more interesting. The puzzle hacking is a joke and boring. I like everything about the story, just would have been better served as a show I feel.

2) If I pay for a game, it should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done from day one. They purposely didn't market this letting everyone know that you would not get the whole story from day one. If I had known it wasn't all fininshed and out now I would have waiting for a a sale down the road when the whole story is out. This 'game' should be getting more criticism for this, If a game came out like this it's would be getting raked over the coals. I didn't pay for a half complete game.

I cannot support a game with so much Chinese influence and censorship. Marvel I am disappointed

I want to love this game. I really do. Admittingly, I am not very good at RTS or Sim building games, but this game is sooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. It is absolutely impossible for me to get a community going. If you leave everything on normal, the devs just beat this ♥♥♥♥ out of me. I have tried starting over countless times and either the storms kill me, or it seems like no matter how hard I try to keep my people out of radiation, they still find a way. All of the sudden one will become iradiated, then they all go like dominos, and everyone dies. If that doesn't get me it's something else. Like there is literally too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too early in the game. They put removing Radiation sooo far down the tech tree with all the prereq's that I die way before I can get to that point. I like everything about this game, except how hard it is. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible. By making the game this hard you guys lose out on casuals like me. i have tried lowering settings, but that feels like cheating.

It's not the game we were promised. I am so thirsty for a Marvel game, if this is all I got then it is what scratches that itch. It's grindy and repetative as ♥♥♥♥. I find comfort in the grind. I can turn the sound completely off, and watch a tv show while i beat the crap out of stuff. The actual combat is great, some of my favorite third person hack and slash that I've played, it's just they spent all the dev time on that and not the rest of the game. idk I really shouldn't endorse this game but It had so much potential. I think if they would have made single player games using the combat model it could have been magnificent. But the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ business side of gaming wins out again with the microtransaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and again another game dies on the shelf.
