I first tried this game back in 2016 and something about it made me buy it 2017, after that I played on and off for few years and by the time of fall 2020, I had only 130 hours. Then I found my place in the foxhole, a group I have spent almost 2000 hours with and learnt/tried most of the things in Foxhole with that group. In these past few years I have seen best and the worst of the foxhole, the community playing part on both.

In Foxhole you can hop on and hit the frontline to test your skills against all sorts of opponents and use both your factions weapons and those which have been taken from the enemy, or go to backlines to do some logistics and chat about the most random things while scrapping with some people you have never met before.
Ofc us veterans can be rather short-tempered at times and we can be rather harsh towards new players making a mistake that we have seen few hundred times already. That is on us, but I have been also trying to help wherever I can and try to teach new players that seem to need help. There are some unspoken rules within the community which some have had to learn the hard way. Also the fact that the home island's training courses are obsolete makes the player to player interactions even more important.

Foxhole still has that little something that makes it unique and has kept it's charm over the years. Player driven logistics, true persistent warfare, after the war starts it's goes on 24/7 till either side wins. Game where everyone can find their place in the war machine and help the team with their efforts.

Now that devs have been teasing us about the future Naval update and have addressed the issues with alting, building, facilities and partly logistics I am looking forward to see what future holds for this game.

I would say Arma 3 is a brilliant game and with mods you can't find any game that could challenge you and your friends like Arma 3. I also recommend you guys to try Arma 3 skenario called Antistasi Altis Community version. You can also play antistasi skenario in Finland by trying out Antistasi Virolahti and with RHS mods it is one of the top skenarios.

I think The Isle is pretty good game if you like playing as dinosaur and if you like survival games.
