I had my fun with the game and I like it but to be honest I think it's pretty average.

The combat I think has potential but I have a feeling the game can't really decide wheater it wants to be a character action game or a Souls-like/Sekiro-like. Sure it has a variety of strings but they are not that good and your main source of damage are the skills that are tied to beta (blue) and alpha (red) meter.
And the fact that you have only one weapon for the entire game doesn't really help.
And combat feels bad when theres more than one enemy around you.
Also it has a Tachy mode (local devil trigger) which gives you invincibility but in terms of damage it's a joke, so you'll end up using it just as a suvival tool IMO.
On normal NG the combat feels not so good but I on hard with NG+ starts to feel decent, but it still suffers from points i mentioned from above.

Bosses are fun (most of them) and i like that they and the mobs follow a single artstyle (even if they are generic).
Side quests are either fetch quests or kill stuff (straight out of korean mmo). There are like a few memorable quests that can tell some story.
The main story itself is very bland (basically Nier Automata but worse) so as the characters (espetially Adam) and only Raven & Lily are interesting (Kaya is cutie tho).
Eve while looks very pretty has a personality of plank of wood through the entire game. She has a character growth and someting interesting going on but the problem is when that happens the game just ends.

The visuals look pretty and the game is well optimized which is great.
The soundtrack is an absolute banger and goes straight into my playlist.
The two open world are Desert and Desert 2 (really) so I hope you really like deserts. And most of points of interest are enemy camps with a chest or other collectable.
The locations looks great at the beginning and endgame and great music really adds up the atmosphere. But in midgame locations are forgettable. Since aside from 2 deserst you get underground labs and a sewer.
Oh, and platforming sucks. I won't elaborate.

Unfortunately the absolute majority of collectable character logs are just some dude's last words that add absolutely nothing interesting.
At least Eve has a LOT of colletable costumes to collect which are great. And many more to unlock (most are recolours but also new ones in NG++). And even more costumes from collab DLCs if you bought them.
The puzzles are straight from kindergarten and add nothing to the game.

I think Stellar Blade is 6/10 game. Maaaybe 6.5
Get it with a discount if you feel like it.
It's clearly a game from an inexperienced team so many problems arive from that, but I can see they tried and putted some effort in to the game. Once again it has potential and I hope they hire better writers and other issues will be fixed in the sequel (and personally I hope it will play way more like a CAG insted of a Sekiro-like).
