WARNING: ********Always Online******** Trash right now. When you launch it Offline it claims you can play it but can't progress and that progression will be added in the future. You cannot. Trying to Enter the Hanger or start the Prologue boots you back to the menu immediately. Devs have Offline on the roadmap for next year.

So until then it looks like I can't play Jump Space on my Phone.


P.S. Pretty sure this will be a really good game.


Update: Game prescribes to the typical Hard=Normal, Normal=Easy, and Easy=Baby difficulties and locks difficulties behind game progression. 8 hours of gameplay at this point and it's just boring you don't even need to repair your ship and always end each run with like 400 Materia (20 repair kits worth) and 50 weapons that could be scrapped for Materia.

Played it a little bit. Got put in a match with troll teammate that were amazed by this new type of entertainment called a 3D video game. Whoever designed the tutorial should probably be fired or be put on r/maliciouscompliance because they're either totally incompetent at basic thinking or was pissed off at someone.
Unless the devs do something to get an actual player base I'd say skip this. People that say just making it free to play will help are delusional. A game doesn't lose 98% of its player base in a few months for no reason.

-Devs refused to fix 3 year old bugs and instead decided to just abandon the game and force you to use Google and workarounds or take 10 minute breaks every single boss fight.
-Semi-forced TAA: You can either enjoy blurry 720p or 720p without AA at 4k.
-Troll final boss that doesn't support melee despite every single boss (afaik) supporting melee. So LOLOLOL you can't even fight it if you only brought melee weapons.
-No rejoin feature like almost every other Roguelite and ask me why I know. It's not because one of our internet even went out it was probably another bug.

Yea that's what 96% positive reviews does to devs. Just enjoy that $$$$$ and abandon the game because the plebs are fine with it.
