This game is a love letter to the original. I don’t know why people complain about it being a 1:1 copy of the original it’s a REMAKE, of course it’s a 1:1 recreation. A remake is supposed to be like that. The RE remakes are reimaginings of the originals, but 'reimagination' is a bad title card, so they put 'remake' in the title to make it look good.

Anyway the game is good, and I wouldn’t have done it in any other way. I don’t know why people keep complaining about not changing anything if they had changed something, people would have complained about that too. I’m still pretty early on (I just had the second encounter with Ocelot), and it runs well for me. My PC is ♥♥♥♥ it’s even under the minimum specs on for this game (I have a 1660 Super) and I have the quality settings on medium. Yeah, it slows down sometimes in heavy environments, but other than that it’s not as bad as people say. I think it’s a solid MGS3 experience so far.

In a few days, I’ll upgrade my PC for my birthday, but for now I’m enjoying it. And before someone thinks I like the UE engine: I HATE the UE engine. I think it’s a bad engine that only gives good graphics. But this game, for now, is an exception: it has good graphics and the performance isn’t that bad. I’ll update the review in the following days when I’ve completed it and upgraded my PC.
