Been waiting for this to release, I usually don't preorder but knowing the series i just had to.
And i have not been disappointed, Even the prologue was fun to play and just now roaming the zone and wasteland, picking battles with bandits and mutants. Anomalies are on a whole new level, mutants give you a nice jump scare every now and then.

Some small performance issues but that's expected with every launch. But no crashing or errors 4 hours in and ive got lost in the side quests and exploration. Brings back memories of the good ol games.

Launch Day of Callisto Protocol,

From my experience from today launch, i did not run into any issues that other were experiencing, no real major stutters, i am running ray tracing and high-ultra settings with motion blur and some other stuff off, my 3080 has it work cut out for it.

but nothing really to ruin my gaming experience or play through, small stutters or micro stutters when there's a lot of volumetric cloud, mists and tiny particles but then it catches up and runs right through, it think it also stalls at some moments to load the next portion of the game or section. I'am very happy with the game and cant wait to bring you guys more content

The Day 1 patch that came out has supposedly fixed some errors and optimized it, for me i haven't had any performance issues.

If you're looking at this game from a Dead Space perspective then yea you'll have some very similar queues but if you haven't tried dead space and just looking at it from a first play through or this game overall it seems pretty enjoyable, i stream it and my viewers and friends enjoy the story and jump scares, they've seen me play the dead space series but they still enjoy it. They'll say omg this feel like dead space or reminds me of dead space but they still enjoyed the game play and story. Krafton did a good job from my perspective but take it as it is.

When have we ever experienced a game that isn't similar to another?? Call of duty to Battlefield? Elite Dangerous to star citizen? Oddly similar gameplay, similar story queues. Its not anything new.

Everyone is just nit-picking too much.

I enjoy the game and story.

The melee could be improved but overall, im having fun.
