Death to Chronos

I feel as if the trailer was misleading to what the game was about. I expected something similar to Stanley Parable in humor and style, waiting till the end of the game for a more comedic twist or social experiment. I kept playing till the end, still wanting to play it's main purpose and to find out who Coda really was. However, by the end what I felt and what the game really wanted me to feel was not in the same place. I felt more annoyed at the narrator and felt used by playing this.

By getting something that was shown as the Stanley Parable's next new fun game I got shown a collection of games that did not want to be shown by the creator, which is just an abuse of his position to release under a more famous devs name and was something that I did not sign up for.

Overall interesting concept - not executed well

Short Version: I have feelings over a sword 10/10

Complete:
This game quickly climbed into my favorites.

Pros:
Logan Cunningham did it again, with his wonderful voice leading the way
Story is really cool and kept you interested on where it was going
The style of combat is really awesome
It's just really beautiful with the art style and everything

Cons:
Only thing I could possibly think to even slightly complain about is it was a bit short, but then again it didn't really need to be longer and you can replay it and get higher levels and thats pretty cool too

Bonus:
I don't think I've ever completed a game and immediately wanted to replay it (not including if the story or game itself changes after you finish it the first time) But I did with this one, partly to see how things would go with the leveling, partly just to play it again because it was really well done. :3

The first one may be a bit hard to play through, but the series as a whole is a wonderful thing. It has a wonderful storyline with great characters and choices, making replays different depending on how your character responds to others. It's the best series I've played and I find it hard to find another game that is as captivating as it.
