50% player base loss in one day, and I would bet about 50 bucks that most of them tried to quit the tutorial, saw that you locked matchmaking behind it, and bailed on the game entirely.

The rest of them left after one match because it's a boring, handholding, mess that is filled to the brim with mediocrity. and runs like sh** on a 5070ti and 9800x3D.

I don't know what to say. Game development used to be a dream job for so many dudes. This game is a PERFECT example of what happens when you force women, lgbt, and weak men into an industry they don't understand or respect so they can s*** all over the hobby so many of us have loved since we were children. You are NOT welcome in this industry, when will you learn that everything you touch turns to sh**? You failed because you are not good enough, not for any other reason than that.

Developers, you DESERVE the layoffs that are coming your way. You failed, it is YOUR fault that you failed. All of the decisions you made were the wrong ones and not one single person on your team was competent enough to see this coming when all it took was the first 10 seconds of the trailer for people to accurately nail this game down as a worthy successor to Concord.

The only people left playing this game are 30+ year olds. Most of them spend their time in game figuring out what their keybinds do and sitting in corners about 30 miles from any objective. Call of Duty left them behind, battlefield is too fast paced, and they found a perfect little nook to let their gaming passion die out in a 3rd rate shooter.

Remember, these are the mentally deficient fools actually purchasing skins in this game. You simply can't fix the perfect consumer cattle that is a depressed failed man.

Changed Review: Their decision to retroactively kill their hardcore-pvp end game in favor of softcore-pve will go down in history as a MASSIVE flop. These guys knew their game would die the second people set foot outside Haga Basin which is why they de-centralized the servers. They knew this game had about 1 month of content in it and people would drop it like a bad habit.

Killing PVP essentially turned every single promise made by the developers into a big fat stack of documented lies. The Lansraad, the DD, the grind through the first 100 hours of the game to hopefully get a morcel of excitement in PVP is all dead in the new PVE end game.

Not even worth checking in on my base to pay my taxes at this point cause its gona take 6 months for this thing to fizzle out.

Spectre divide does many things in a new way and offers a quick and easy alternative to the standard precision fps formula.
In terms of situational complexity where CS is less dynamic, (everyone has access to the same tools and you can predict) and Valorant being more dynamic (individual operators introduce unique their unique visual styling and abilities and the combination of operators is very high). Spectre falls comfortably in the middle with unique operator load outs but lucking the ultimate abilities. The pacing of the game play is slow enough to allow strategy while the increased activity of the specters keeps each game a high kill experience with players using specters and their teleportation in unique ways.

The Crew mechanic seems like an interesting idea, giving you a ranked progression weekly that is reliant on a larger entity than yourself, and the unlocks attached to them. However we will see when the first cycle is over.

As far as developer communication and attitude, they released a day 1 patch to fix issues, and permanently lowered store prices per their customers complaints. Matchmaking times are still a little slow but we are just approaching the first weekend post release so i am sure it is a high priority for them to iron out these issues before Saturday. I would say they get high marks.

This game has high potential but is going to require maintaining a player base that stays above critical mass to keep the systems going. A lot less of a worry from a large company like valve or riott.

I know 7/10 is a bit of an IGN meme, but i truly think 7 is a great number because this game is good, but it could easily fumble the ball. For fans of the precision FPS looking for something just experimental enough to offer something new.
