Good game. Just needs some polishing around the edges then it'll be perfect.

Absolutely love the game, super fun and its awesome seeing bits of the run with your friends afterwards. Some constructive criticism though is I would like the films to be longer, maybe camera upgrades where you can upgrade the film to 2 minutes then the next upgrade to 3 minutes. Other than that the game is awesome!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game. It was great when I played it a year ago, but after coming back recently to do NG+, I was utterly blindsided by the awful traversal stutter from which the game is suffering from. It is an awesome remake of the first game, and it stays true to its story and gameplay while perfecting a lot of things but I cannot recommend this game after how fast it was abandoned by the developers after release. I don't want any gamepasses or premium skins or anything like that, I just want the game to perform better, especially on higher end PCs.

I don't normally type reviews but I have to say that this might be one of the greatest mods ever. If you're invested into the lore of HL and want to rid that Itch that Valve won't scratch for us then this is it. Although it may not be canon it is written as if it was HL Episode 3 (pls valve) as the Combine. The story is set in the middle of HL2 Episode 2 and you're placed inside the boots of a Combine Elite which is super refreshing and gives you a change of perspective. The story is good, sure some things may be far fetch but this is the HL/Aperture universe, crazier stuff has happened. You can really see where the love placed into the level design, voice acting, and story writing and I couldn't help but to laugh with the protagonist and feel empathy for him too. The best part is that you will get to play it for free, if I could give these guys money I would. Definitely hope you guys release a third one! 10/10
