Hands down, this "demo" gets more hate than it deserves.

Yes the one and only main Story Mission, depending on your playstyle and what goals/challenges that you set for yourself, will only take 1-2hours of your time.
But one has to consider its absolutely stunning presentation. All cutscenes are incredibly cinematic and the graphics of this 10y/o game can still compete with current gen games, while having a stable performance. The Fox Engine is truely a beast.
Ground Zero also covers an important piece of MGS Plot that you should not be missing.
The Map is masterfully handcrafted, every inch feels purposeful in-place.
MSGV (including The Phantom Pain) is still to this day untouched at the gaming pinacle of stealth mechanics, though some may argue MGSV's broad arsenal of gadgets and possible approaches lead to a too forgiving experience.

After completing the main mission you may play the 6 side missions and approach them in various ways. Each of them (including the main mission) have a hard-mode and ranking systems, which you can also try to conquer.

For lore/plot enthusiast there are also casette tapes you can collect which uncover important pieces of MGSVs Story and Characters.

Though one important thing has to be made clear: You will struggle to understand MGSVs Story if haven't played MGS3 and Peace Walker before.

And of course, if you are absolutely not interested in the stoy and side missions (which are all located on the same map as the main mission), you might be disappointed.

All in all, if you go for a 100% completion you can estimate a play time of at least 20hours. I myself just finished the main mission with all collectibles and the first 4 side missions.
