look no further friends, this is hands down the best vr game made to date.
does it look and act a bit jank? sure but so do i lol.

youve heard of walking dead saints and sinners and i grant you its my second favorite vr zombie game.... but this here piece of love is a vision of what we all want in a zombie game.

do yourself a favor and play it with an open mind and a hushed voice

I've been playing games now for 30 years.

I have been alpha testing, beta testing, early access gaming... heck i backed this on kickstarter immediately!

This is hands down one of the worst made games i've ever played, second only to "Orion Prelude" which was equally as broken upon launch.

Here is a list of the issues i faced with my 4090.

Upon doing the tutorial it broke immediately upon using the first interaction (radio). Couldnt remove interface or progress. Had to restart.
Start single player game, spawn in the tents. As i am running i am watching the rocks on the road load in about 20 metres infront of me. I have everything set to Epic.
Get into car, car goes through all zombies. Zombies simply walk through the doors and stand directly on my player model.
No collision with zombies with car.
As car moves on hills or has any angle changes the camera changes but you can not control it. Car flipped, unable to look at the door to exit vehicle. Forced to exit game.

The menu literally has options that say, "Insert header" like they didnt have the time to fill in their own menu?!

Everything is so poorly optimized its unreal. I wanted to like this, i really did. I gave it a good shot on two different days but its literally just a big pile of steaming poo.

It is an early access game (in development for 7 years prior) so i will come back to it in the future.

This game is exactly what i expect to see out of VR.

Innovation.

The game itself is super simple, a linear puzzle game with very little guidance. Fun and intuitive puzzles keep you occupied.
Where it really shines? Level design.

My room for VR is large in comparison, i use a 3m x 3m space but the area itself is larger and this game utilized the whole 3x3 space. Instead of using smooth locomotion the game forces you to walk everywhere and rooms change with clever tricks to keep you always moving.

The whole game i was like a giddy kid just marvelling at the simplicity of the level design and gameplay. It wasnt long but i was engaged the whole time.

Another amazing melee game, another broken controller.

Well, i've played alot of Gorn and i'd like to say im a pretty experienced combat master but damn did that change when i played blade & sorcery.

The game itself is definitely early access in the content available, about 10 different weapons all usable with whatever style you want. Want to hold the axe right below the sharp part? no big deal! Sword in one hand and backward sword in the other? definitely.

I found so much enjoyment just messing around with the stances i'd use, jumping, slashing... and then everything changed when i realized i could literally GRAB the NPCs anywhere on their body and manipulate them.

Well, that started out as a great shield for electricity and arrows, grab the closest shoulder and pull the guy infront of you.

Thats when this game turned into a true murder simulator.

I grabbed one of the female gladiators by the throat, her eyes went big.. stared me in the eyes like please dont.. and then i stabbed a dagger into her chin.

Her chin?! Well, i then went on a murdering spree and stabbed peoples heads in every way i could imagine, ears, eyes, chin, mouth, forehead. Regretably, there wasnt the ability to rip their heads off like in gorn... but i guess thats realistic lol.

Frankly, i have alot of fun in this game but i cant wait for extra content, now that natural locomotion has a profile for this game its EVEN BETTER.

10/10 recommend

What a lovely experience! I expected it to be very basic but they included some great featrures, even the ability to test if you yourself are colour blind!
