Rhell is such a monument to creativity and imagination. It's amazing that literally everything in this game was created by a single person! I love how creative you can be with the spells, and as you progress, puzzles that you struggled with become easier since you have more runes to play around with!
The music has a delightful air to it that matches the world and aesthetic, and while my switch controller didn't work with it, I was happy with how easy it was to remap keyboard controls in the options menu.
The fact as well that there are spell combinations that create special effects are really cool, like combining slime and ice to become metal, which opened up exploration and more solutions to puzzles.
I really can't wait for the full game to release, and hope everyone else has as much fun exploring and experimenting as I did :3

I've played this so much that situations in my regular day to day that require basic resource management have me thinking in the way that this game operates. I keep coming back to it after a few weeks or even months of not playing, only to remember there's teams I've not got 100% on, and the illusive secret team that you can only unlock by playing as every other team that I'm still working towards...

They Hayseed Knight is such a labour of love from Maxi. Every character has depth, even the ones you think are just throwaway oddballs at first. I adore these characters more than most games, the voice acting and writing bring them to life in a way that I rarely experience in games, and I only got one of the endings.
Please do yourself a favour and play this, to support an amazing dev, to go through the emotions and twists and reveals of a wonderful adventure, and to just have an excellent time.

I've been following the development for a good while, and it's really cool to see how far it's come.
The game itself is really enjoyable, I like dashing and jumping and quickly comboing into another dash to gain some wicked speed.
Considering this whole game was made by one person is also just amazing, with the exception of some cool voice acting and very catchy music.
Other than that, every art asset and every animation, all the coding, done by one person, and she's done an amazing job.
I'm excited to play more, and speed run some of the levels to get some top times!
