An excellent game with a pretty unique idea. Graphics are solid for what they're trying to do, sound is good and the gameplay is engaging and imho very fun the ships are well put together, parts are in logical (though perhaps not instantly obvious) places and its fun to learn and improve your efficiency with practice. The only limiting factor in the fun atm imo is the lack of ship types to disassemble there is some but not many. I'm certain that the devs will be adding more as time goes on, they're clearly in a phase of fixing core issues through early access testing before adding more complexity.

There are bugs ofc its early access but nothing I've encountered seems to point to any "underlying issue" or "incompetence". The devs have also been very good so far at taking feedback and fixing issues in a timely fashion.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of today they have added a new mode to play the story mode WITHOUT the timer that so many people complain about, so basically any review you see that says you shouldn't buy because of the timer can probably be ignored now.

Here's to hoping this will be another in the very short list of "early access done right" games, but even as it is now I'm getting some good enjoyment from it.

An excellent sandbox experience, do what you want with plenty of options to play the way you want - from being a knight with a lance to a cav archer. Outside of the battle map there is a great experience of building your Empire how you want it - As a mercenary or vassal for another lord or as a bandit king making his/her own rules.

I cannot in anyway condone this DLC policy its not stupid it's disgusting and their excuses of "oh the models are more complex than in most other DLCs" is insane. The base half game (I don't think it even deserves to be called a full game considering how many races are missing) was fun and a good addition to the total war franchise but I paid 70euro for it a gore mod to add some blood to a damn total war game and to be able to play a race that was already in the game, now they're asking for another 18euro for the first of many missing races if they used that as a precendent the full game with all races will cost like 300euro
