Adorable and full of ratty goodness. A good, solid title for anyone who enjoys Nonograms. Especially if you also like chill vibes and looking at rodents.

In all aspects, story, character, music, gameplay and art design and whatnot, it's just really solidly made. You can tell a lot of care and time went into the whole thing. Very much worthwhile.

It is not an awful game. The music is wonderful, the graphics are quite pretty, and the mechanics are quite polished and add an interesting element of puzzle to the combat that, though it feels like it forces your hand sometimes, makes battles very fun to figure out.

However, story and character are the most important thing to an RPG for myself, and I found that both of those aspects generally degraded as more of them were revealed while playing through the game. I realize much of the game is the work of one person, and I commend them for what they've made. It's no small feat to do what he did. But still there is a lot of missed potential in the characters, and a lot of story felt incredibly lacking, and just left me incredulous and wanting. So in the end, I just can't recommend it, despite the good that is here.

This game is amazingly open in what it lets you do and most challenges have at least two ways to solve 'em. Great soundtrack, simple and wonderful battle systems, crafting, etc. There's a ton to do and satisfactorily spend your time with. Just heckin' great.

It Isaac. Either you like it or you don't.

While the initial release was pretty buggy, they've quickly sorted it out and it's a fun, simple match-4 with a little more. Plus Bum-bo. Want. Coin.

An "Igavania" that really does capture the feel of his Castlevanias of old-ish(?) People often look towards Symphony of the Night for comparison, but I'd honestly say it's more in line with Aria of Sorrow, which is a good thing in my opinion. Otherwise it plays well, sounds wonderful, and looks nice. Only issue I've had with it is that my PS4 controller will randomly decide to disconnect and reconnect only while playing Bloodstained. Not a huge problem, but strange all the same.
