Only bought this to call the playerbase entitled brats.

If you wanna send a message, don't hack a different game and render it unplayable, instead of using the game you actually wanna affect change in to make your point. Stay in your corner.

Beat this on PS4 at launch, and grabbed it here so I can run through the DLC now that it's all released.

Control was one of my favourite games from last year. It has a wholly unique setting and style that really sucked me in, along with a dynamic and snappy combat system that sits atop the pile of Remedy's already fantastic history of shooters. Jessie is a fun and likeable protagonist, and the story is really something special, IF you're willing to really dig deep into all the collectable lore pages and videos.

Jumping into the PC version, I was immediately struck by just how impressive the ray-tracing implementation is. It transforms the environments and makes it feel like a whole new game. That being said, I'd be remiss to not mention the texture LoD issue the game experiences when run in DX12. No matter what you set your textures to, they decay in quality as your video memory fills, so even if you're on ultra settings, you'll eventually be surrounded by potato textures. This doesn't seem to be an issue on DX11, but running that sacrifices RTX and DLSS support, so you have to pick your battles there.

Overall, this is still a definite recommend. I haven't played anything quite like this before. Remedy kills it yet again.

This game's been through the wringer. At launch, it was a mess, and it stayed a mess for over a year. The team kept at it, though, and Destiny is now in a better place than it's ever been before. A mountain of content, in-depth lore with an engaging story, and one of the best MMO communities out there.

The best MMO currently going. A literal mountain of content, welcoming community, and a low price of entry. Just don't get it on Steam.

One of the best games of it's kind right now. The balance of survival, adventure, and espionage is *so* on-point. There is a fair bit more room for griefing than I'd like, but that just comes with the territory, and I don't hold it against the game itself. Fantastic execution with a unique flavour. Highly recommended.
