Before I get to the rest, I should mention that the rhythm gameplay is pretty fun, solid like 6/10. The rhythm gameplay is not why I am writing this review. The story is why I am both writing this review, and why I will be nominating this for game of the year for the 2026 Steam Awards. And probably half of the other awards too. I am not being hyperbolic when I say I would pay $200 for this game. This is the most emphatic I have ever and will ever recommend a game. Regarding the plot...

There's just something about this game. It shouldn't hit this close and this hard for me, just like objectively. I'm not a musician in the slightest, I haven't had the same key life experiences (I cannot say because spoilers what exactly I am referring to), it's just not me. Hell honestly I normally don't care for rhythm games. But somehow, it just hits. I don't cry easily or often. I struggled to play the game at times because it turns out gaming is hard while sobbing. I needed to take a shower to wash my face after the finale. I just don't have the words to explain how this game makes me feel, I can talk around the feeling, point to the space around it, but not the thing itself, and maybe, just maybe, that's the point.

There's one thing I do know, and that this game truly is UNBEATABLE.

I'll admit I was skeptical about the idea of an RPG factory game but I am very glad I decided to give this game a chance. It's basically post-Factorio-apocalypse (an apocalypse from a factorio perspective not from a people perspective, the people are just in a recession). Also the art for the characters is just dsilajkfhbdsf I don't have the words it's amazing. 11/10.
