I work in the board games and video games industry and I very seldomly review games but I felt like I HAD TO for this one.

I have been mindblown by Mind Over Magic from the minute I booted it. This game is made with love and care and it shows. The game design is especially deserving of a praise: it is deep, well-thought and varied. I can't imagine the challenge to balance it all but it just works.

There is also an obvious attention in regards to user experience as alot of info is provided to help the players make informed decisions. There are many more examples but I especially like the room tooltips that mention the next steps to improve a room, SO useful and clever.

And yet another positive sidenote: I don't recall any major (or even minor) bugs in my 18 hours experience. I find that impressive for a game with so many moving parts.

With that said, I can't wait to delve deeper into the underground and discover its secrets, build more efficient rooms, train better and more specialized students, fight tougher battles, equip more powerful relics and make everyone more happy. In its current early access state, my expectations are far surpassed, I'm thrilled by the future content I see on the roadmap and I can't wait to play the fine-tuned full-fledged release version.

I hope this convinces more folks to give Mind Over Magic a try and I wish the team tremendous commercial success. You truly deserve it! <3
