<- Also, indie developers here.
I have known Michael personally for a few years now. Strangely, we met each other during a contest where we both presented our current projects. Funny fact: we were rivals that day, and we both lost that contest, xD but we stayed very good friends since then.

I have seen many indie developers since that day try to finish their projects and fail. The reality is that so many projects are just canceled because not a lot of people understand the difficulty and the sheer quantity of work needed to complete a project. Getting to the end is absolutely crazy. Yes, it's easy to start up a random indie jam with your friend during the weekend, but trying to have a full, complete game released is something else entirely. The first week of development will progress faster than the next few years, xD

So, I am very happy for Michael that he successfully managed to release his project as a solo developer. It takes a lot of time and dedication to achieve what he did because many try, and many, many fail. I know players have high expectations, and from what I see, yes, it seems to have some bugs with the project. Knowing him, he is probably already working relentlessly to fix them. Releasing it as early access would have probably helped a lot to lower the expectation, but Michael probably has his own reasons why he didn't do it, and I respect that.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to write this review for other players because here is your chance to make a real difference. Many people complain about companies like EA that they don't care about their player base. For once, you have the chance to truly support a real indie developer.

Most titles that you consider as "great indie games" are not as indie as you think. They have millions of dollars invested in them but still call themselves indie games because as long as you are not a massive studio like EA, you can easily call yourself an indie developer.

For once, you've got a real indie developer in front of you. You can literally join his Discord and talk with him personally to improve the project in real-time with him. What you have to say about it has a real impact on the project for once. If you have the chance to show him your support, take your chance. As an indie developer, it does make an enormous difference.

Anyway, I wish everyone a good time with the game, and I personally wish Michael my best for the continuity of his project.
