Worth playing, and doubly so with friends, I've had minimal issues in multiplayer, and apart from which, have experienced a fun time.

It is unfortunate that expecting bugs has become common, and this game has it's fair share, if you're reading this looking to buy and don't mind the occasional game breaker, go ahead, but if you're looking at this review a few months later, you're probably not going to face the issues that I've come to expect in the early days of launch.

On the other hand, most issues that I've faced could be linked with multiplayer connectivity causing them, thus it's not a fair shot to use this review if you're going in solo.

Early Access Review
12 Hours of a lot of good fun and while I wish the Evolutions were something listed as hints, I overall still enjoyed the game immensely. I've hit all 37 achievements and am hopeful the Devs keep this game supported cause it's a banger of one.

There are 2 arenas as of my review. Each featuring their unique challenge for the Survivors to face.

9 Evolutions, each of which are extremely fun to use, and a blast to unlock multiple in one run. A core highlight of this game. Some weapons do not have a evolve as of yet, and I will be looking forward to seeing that change.

The accessories as of this review are pretty bare bone with only the Duplicator providing a substantial benefit whilst the remaining offer passive boosts that are nice to have and almost quality of life in other cases.

The core game-play loop is fast, if not a bit annoying at times when your luck seems to be down, but the game often ends your run quickly enough without dragging out the pain.

Each of the 8 total characters available as of this review are minimally interesting, again providing little spice apart from being able to select a weapon that you would prefer to start with and a passive that feels to take a step out of being existent for most of the cast.

8/10 for a quick game that lasts 30 minutes per finished run, is a blast and if you're looking for a mobile Tower-Defense type of game, this is currently at the top of my list of recommendations.

Overall, the story might come off as bland and slow, but quickly pieces together a very interesting world. The game play up until around level 30-50 is quite slow and will leave you pressing the same few buttons over and over again but ramps up quickly to an almost insane pace at late game keeping those interested in having to manage global cooldowns and oGCDs while dodging attacks in quick paced beautiful fights.

The PvP is a chaotic mess, but truly enjoyable if you're able to take the reins of around 50 players in your team and have them work together to overcome your opponents with strategic timing and good positioning, usually hard, but fun nonetheless as you use spells otherwise much more harder to access in this combat against other players.

Music is a absolutely amazing from minute one of the game.

UI-HUD- is made extra manageable with Macros to activate and deactivate menus and hud elements with ease, as well as repositioning or resizing in the UI manager.

Please disregard most negative reviews that go:
- My computer can't run this, thus the game is bad.
- Port is bad because fps drop after adding more things to game.

To be sure, this expansion is one of the best expansions in the industry where it improves on almost every aspect that's present in the base game.

You wanted layered armor? Yes.
You want better builds with more freedom? Yes.
You want better monsters that aren't just damage sliders with an op attack? The builds help, but armor upgrades ensure you don't cart instantly, ideally, you shouldn't be getting hit with attacks that should cart you and then hope that you survive. But, most attacks are now not as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as compared to the AT versions of elder dragons previously.
CLUTCH CLAW - Now I don't have to flash a monster 5 billion times and in partnership, NEW MOVES. Moves that straight up enhance a weapon to an almost god-like balance.
Trust me, a lot of these negative reviews are straight up almost petty in their arguments, and you should definitely not be basing whether you buy this on if it worked on his computer, we don't know if he had 50 tabs + bloatware running and making his already sub 60 fps gameplay and we don't know if you'll do that. I would 100% recommend this and run it at low settings if I have to get you to play it.

Basically, if you enjoyed MHW, Iceborne is the must-have must-see must-do version of the game.
