If you like Pixel art, management and tycoon, silly and good humour, and most of all brews and or brewing...
Then this game is for you!

One play-through has lasted me 30 hours, and that is not even with the game finished or with the new updates available,

Pixel art is a perfect mix of detailed but simple, which I find amazing.

It goes in-depth in the right aspects of the game where it does feel like an actual managing/tycoon sim but remains casual at the same time.

The humour is a mix of monty-python-esk ''dry'' and ''flat'' humour with the events being pretty hilarious ( My explanation might not translate that well as English is not my main language )

And the amount of different ingredients, brews, aging and many more options when it comes to brewing, I think the devs actually like a brew themselves and went pretty in-depth to when it comes to the styles and ingredients.

PS. I must say that the Devs are really involved/engaged with the community, give us regular updates on the progress and or little teasers of what's to come, I'd honestly recommend popping into the discord and say hi, Im pretty sure youll be welcomed with open arms in this brewing game community :')

Update: Soooo.... They have done it again !
I have tried to keep playing the game, I did kind of... enjoy it (mostly because I play with a lot of folks and that makes it a lot of fun for me)...

But... They once again have updated the game whilst people had their stuff going on in the Deep Desert, Made turned some PVP into PVE and vice versa... Now people lost a lot of their stuff, griefing became worse, cap zones had buildings inside of them and much, much more inconveniences and bugs...

So instead of just trying to keep a bunch of people happy in the game and keep their ''profits'' maybe they should have stuck to their original game plan and roadmap... Because this is one massive S*** Show....

If you do not mind losing hours of progression, really weird update timings, server crashes and much more issues then this is your game! But for me I think it is finally time to say Im going to take a break or actually try and ask for a refund..

Is there a way I can get a refund on this clearly EARLY ACCESS game....

These kind of drastic patches and changes should not be made in a full release....

DO NOT BUY if you are in it for the PVP and ENDGAME.

They have completely ruined / removed / changed it for a set of people that only enjoy PVE.

@Funcom, Give me back my money, I have been scammed.

I have over 150 hours in this game,
was great at launch...

But with all the latest updates and patches just adding things and not fixing the present issues,
or about everything that was fun being nerfed I can not recommend this game until the devs actually start fixing the things that make this game unplayable or irretable to play.

Great potential put to waste in my opinion.

Still a good game if you feel like trolling and laughing with your friends.

Examples :

Finished all the achievements and got to level 50 within 10-14 days. ( not playing more than an hour or 2 a day ) Devs way to counter this was add 100 levels with a level cap of 150 without any rewards or feeling any progression. ( Just feels like lazy solution )

Spawn rates and patrol rates are literally insane, but hey, lets even make it worse with the latest patch/update.

Collision issues, as Helldiver you literally get stuck on everything even the Pelican's ( extraction plane ) door.
Or wait what you killed a Bile Titan and you cant traverse or get away from underneath it but the enemy can and just kill you without being able to do anything about it.

Falling through the ground or getting stuck in terrain or other buildings and things are also a common thing.

When they add new content such as weapons they are not tested at all. ( Example : they add a airburst cannon with proximity fuse that literally reacts to everything even the ammo boxes randomly scattered around the map )

Want to play with just friends and not get bothered by randoms that just leave anyway or keep taking in spots you want your friends to join in ? Well then bad luck because even if you put the game on friends only it somehow manages to let randoms in occasionaly.

Enemies not looking straight at you but can bend the dynamics of physics and shoot sideways out of their gun barrels ?

Hiding behind a rock ? Trying not to get shot ? The enemy will not care and shoot through solid objects and are still able to kill you.

Want to extract with your team and the samples and stuff you have collected and played for over 30 miutes for ? Well tough luck... your extraction either allows just 1 player to leave or does not leave at all with everyone present inside of the Pelican.

Want unlimited grenades and get trolled by other players ? Just throw your last grenade whilst swapping to your strategems and you have infinite grenades.

Want to kill the 4 bilespewers that are shooting bile mortars at you but you get a bit closer and they one shot you because of a bug that allows fire and bile ( damage over time attacks ) that do all the damage in one hit the first second ?

Want to use the level 25 strategem that should be fun to use and work well but find out it actually is able to shoot itself with a rocket because u wanted to walk sideways/diagonally.


If you want all the above things than this game is for you.


I guess what I am trying to say is that this game is still early access and has a lot of issues that should and could be fixed without adding new content....

Fix the things that need fixing and don't punish the community that was and or is having fun by just adjusting some values and making things harder so it feels like you have more to progress to....

Total war is just an amazing series :) id recommend it to every real strategy gamer :D !

Love the fact that after so many years there is still content comming out , although its usually best to wait for a sale since the prizes on some are a bit over the top , but overall a good game and hope they make a Payday 3 one day with hopefully a more dynamic story / world and more interesting A.I !

Great game :D Wish Total war went back to its roots with this kind of gameplay and era's
